Gizella Varga Sinai

Gizella Varga Sinai (* 1944 in Hungary ) is a Hungarian-Iranian painter and co-founder of the artist group DENA , in which 12 female Iranian artists have come together.

Life

Gizella Varga studied art education at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna and then came to Iran in 1967. For her creative time in Iran she gives six artistic periods:

1. From West to East (1968–1977)
2. Blind dolls (1980)
3. Echo of Silence (1986)
4. The South and its Masks (1999)
5. Pictures and Walls (1989, 2003, 2005)
6. Travel Diary - Safar Nameh (2005)

• Moaser Studio (1981-87)
• German School Tehran (1986-2003)
• Organization and implementation of workshops in Iran and abroad (since 2003)

Gizella Varga Sinai is a wife of Khosrow Sinai , an Iranian director. Together with Farah Ossouli , she founded the artist group DENA in 2001, in which 12 Iranian women painters have come together. The group has already had several international exhibitions, including a. Also in Germany.
