DJ Luna (* 26 August 1977 in The Hague ; bourgeois Richard de Mildt ) is a Dutch hardstyle - DJ and music producer .

biography

Richard de Mildt was born in The Hague. At the age of three he moved to Sassenheim in South Holland , where he lived until he was twenty-first. Then he moved back to The Hague. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, he came into contact with the Q-Dance label . This label gave him appearances at events such as Qlimax , Defqon.1 and Mystery Land . After Luna became better known as a DJ and producer, he started spending more time in the studio. He worked with Deepack , Dutch Master, Crypsis , Blutonium Boy, and The Prophettogether. Most of the time, however, he works on solo projects or with his partners Trilok & Chiren. This trio is known under the pseudonym DHHD. Luna and DHHD published their music on the StraightOn Recordings label, which he founded with DJ Pila and The Scientist in 2003. DHHD produced the track 30 Minutes as an anthem for the Defqon.1 festival in the same year . Three years later in 2006, Luna stopped working with the StraightOn Recordings label. Together with Deepack, Luna produced the anthem Biological Insanity for Defqon.1 in 2008 .

In the same year he also founded the label Minus Is More. Some of his tracks have also been released on the ID&T Records label.
