The DIN standard DIN 6779 is a series of standards with the title labeling system for technical products and technical product documentation . It consists of several parts with department-specific specifications.
DIN 6779-1 basics
Part 1 of the standard describes the fundamentals and rules for the labeling system and for the structure and content of labeling blocks for function- and location-related labeling of technical products. The last edition, published in 1995, was withdrawn in 2007 and replaced by the ISO standard ISO / TS 16952 .
