DJ Beware

DJ Beware , actually Michael Ho (* 1978 in Hong Kong , China ), is a DJ living in Vienna .

Live and act

Michael Ho grew up in Manchester and has been a DJ since 1998. He won the title of the Hong Kong DMC Championship three times . As a resident DJ he came to the Austrian radio station FM4 , where he has been playing the weekly two-hour hip hop show Tribe Vibes ever since . Apart from FM4, he also played as a guest DJ on other broadcasters in Europe. Internationally, however, DJ Beware can mainly be heard in clubs and at DJ events. He has also made a name for himself through projects and joint appearances with musicians and DJs such as Killa Kela , Herbaliser , DJ Craze , Patrice .

At his only long-term, location-based workplace, FM4 in Vienna, his field of activity expanded in summer 2005 with the introduction of a daily live remix show, originally intended only for the summer holidays: Summerbreaks . The daily two-hour show, which he put on together with DJ Functionist, grew into a new broadcast of the regular FM4 program after the holidays, due to the large audience. Unlimited , as the show of the two DJs was now called, ran for two hours every Saturday from September 17, 2005. After the 2007 summer vacation, the broadcast slot was expanded. Since then, the program has been running according to a tried and tested concept, which also regularly invites international DJ guests, Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on FM4.

style

According to his motto "musicality is the number one priority" , his style covers almost all types of music. However, the focus is on music with a hip hop and funk orientation.
