DJ Noise (* 3. March 1974 in Canton Bern ; bourgeois Patrick finger ) is a Swiss Trance - DJ and music producer .

Patrick Finger started playing records in 1987. With a few friends he started the youth disco Black Jack in Bern in 1990 . At this time, techno became topical and Noise discovered its affinity for this style.

In the course of 1991, Noise played at private parties and came into contact with the event company Tarot in 1992 during an after-hour booking at Club Etzel in Urdorf, Zurich . The tarot , booked him for one of their after hours in what was then the OXA Dance Hall . This performance marked the breakthrough to become a constant in the Swiss techno scene, because Tarot subsequently booked Noise practically every week. This resulted in bookings by various clubs and for countless major Swiss techno events.

In 1994 Noise was booked for the Love Nation after the Berlin Love Parade and the route leads several times to Germany and even to Canada .

As early as 1993, Noise began to turn away from the slowly changing hardcore scene and switched to trance . In 1994 Noise began to build up its own recording studio Voice Noise in Oberengstringen , which led to the first own productions.

Noise published its first mix compilations in 1995, and his first own production appeared in 1997.

In addition to regular sets at OXA, Noise is now one of the residents of the Street Parade and Energy .
