DM SAT TV is a Serbian music broadcaster based in Požarevac in Serbia and in Vienna, which went into operation in December 2005.

history

The station quickly developed into a very popular program with many viewers in all successor states of Ex- Yugoslavia , the associated diaspora worldwide and in the neighboring Balkan countries. The owner and manager of the TV channel is the singer Dragana Mirković . She runs the station together with her husband, the Austrian businessman Anton Bijelić.

DM SAT television started work in December 2005, but under its current name it became known a few months later.

The station is based in Vienna (Austria). Most of the production takes place in Požarevac (Serbia).

Satellite
DM Sat can be received via satellite throughout Europe. The satellites Eutelsat 16A , INTELSAT 10-02 (1 ° West), HELLAS SAT 2 (39 ° East) and the Thor 6 are currently in use .

DM Sat is available through the common IPTV providers ( Deutsche Telekom , Unitymedia etc.) and can be reached at national level in the Balkans from various providers.

The central idea of ​​the business policy was that with the help of television a positive atmosphere should be created that transcends borders and should connect people. A special feature is the possibility for viewers to actively influence the program design via SMS.

As part of the television station, a music video production was founded with the aim of creating their own music videos.

Among the most important prizes awarded to DM SAT production are the prizes for the video production of the music videos at the international festival Grand Prix Victoria 2008 and two prizes from the Grand Prix Victoria 2010.
