DOC Kaas (actually Drents-Overijsselse Coöperatie ; also operating internationally under the Dutch Original Cheese brand ) is a Dutch dairy cooperative based in Hoogeveen . It has around 1,200 members and annually processes around one billion kilograms of milk into 130,000 tons of predominantly natural cheese. This makes DOC Kaas the second largest cheese producer in the Netherlands. In the 2014 financial year, the company achieved sales of 558 million euros.

After the first attempt to merge with the largest German milk processing group, Deutsches Milchkontor, failed in 2012 , the European Commission granted approval for this in March 2016 without any conditions. Since the merger on April 1, 2016, DOC Kaas has been co-owner of the German milk company DMK GmbH. It acts as a complete subsidiary, but operates independently and retains its cooperative structure (DOC Kaas BA ).

In 2017 DOC takes over the brand and the Dutch business activities of Uniekaas.
