Julius Eberwein

Julius Eberwein (born June 24, 1802 in Rudolstadt ; † May 20, 1870 there ) was a lawyer and President of Parliament in the Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt state parliament .

Life

Julius Eberwein was the son of the composer Max Eberwein . He studied law at the Universities of Leipzig and Berlin. From 1825 he was an official advocate in Rudolstadt. In 1830 he was promoted to government lawyer and in 1843 received the title of Counselor.

He was a long-time member of the city council of Rudolstadt. For the resigned MP Heinrich Knoch he moved on July 7, 1852 for the 1st (Rudolstadt) constituency in the state parliament. In the second ballot he was elected Deputy Speaker of Parliament on February 13, 1854 with 12 of 18 votes. From October 16, 1854, he represented the constituency of Rudolstadt-Stadt in the state parliament and was elected president of the state parliament on February 25, 1858 in the second ballot with 9 out of 15 votes.
