The DOK-ING Loox (original name: "DOK-ING XD") is an electric car from the Croatian manufacturer DOK-ING Automotiv doo. The designer of the XD is Igor Jurić . The DOK-ING XD had to be renamed by the manufacturer after the Japanese automobile manufacturer Mazda had secured the rights to the designation "XD".

The manufacturer DOK-ING Automotiv doo, founded in 2010 and a subsidiary of DOK-ING doo, presented the two models XD2 and XD4 with two and four electric motors for the first time at the 2011 IAA . Each electric motor has an output of 45 kW. The body consists of Kevlar , CFRP on an aluminum frame. The XD2's electric motor is supposed to accelerate the car from zero to 100 km / h in 7.5 seconds. The range with one charge of the lithium iron phosphate battery should be around 250 kilometers.

The vehicle is 2.85 m long, 1.822 m wide and 1.8 m high. The weight is given as 1200 kg for the XD2 and 1300 kg for the XD4.

A tiny pilot series of the model was produced in 2013. The model is still in the test phase. Currently (2014) the manufacturer is looking for strategic investors to finance the series production of the model, whereby various options are being considered: either a European or American investor will join, if not, then possibly a Chinese one. If that does not work either, the model is to be produced to order in small series in the company's own production facility in Croatia.
