history

Dulsberger SC star arrow

The DSC Hanseat originally emerged from the SC Stern from 1899 and the SC Alemannia 1914, which merged in 1933 to form the Sport Club Alemannia-Stern Dulsberg. During the war years 1943–1945, the SC Alemannia star formed a war sports community with the SV West-Eimsbüttel due to a lack of sports equipment. In 1946 the name was changed to SC Stern-Pfeil 1899. At the same time, the sports clubs SK Olivia 1929, SV Wiking 1909 and Hamm 1895 grew to form the Freie Turn- & Sportgemeinschaft (FTuSG) Dulsberg 1895, which in turn merged with SC Stern in 1948 -Pfeil 1899 merged to the Dulsberger SC Stern-Pfeil.

FC Hanseat / SV Wiking

Parallel to this merger, SV Wiking split off from FTuSG Dulsberg in 1895 in 1909. It existed under this name until 1963 when it merged with FC Hanseat 1928 to form FC Hanseat-Wiking 1909 for the 1964/65 season.

DSC Hanseat

From the FC Hanseat-Wiking 1909 and the Dulsberger SC Stern-Pfeil 1899, today's Dulsberger SC Hanseat from 1899 emerged in the 1973/74 season.

Sporting successes

The greatest sporting success of the later DSC Hanseat (then Dulsberger SC Stern-Pfeil) was the 1957/58 championship in the Hamburg Alster relay and the associated promotion to the third-highest German division, which was then known as the association league. Since the 1940s, DSC teams have played a total of 5 seasons in the differently named 3rd league. In the same period 8 championships were won in different divisions. After relegation to the 10th league in the 2016/2017 season, he was promoted back to the district class A (9th league) in the 2018/2019 season.

Known players

The best-known sports personality with DSC roots is certainly the former manager of Werder Bremen and former Bremen Senator for Culture Willi Lemke , who kicked the ball at Dulsberger SC Stern-Pfeil in the 1960s. Hans-Jürgen “Ditschi” Ripp , who came to Hamburger SV from Dulsberg via Vorwärts Billstedt and won the German Cup in 1976, the European Cup Winner in 1977 and German Champion in 1979, was more successful as an active soccer player . Peter "Oschi" Osterhoff was elected to the FC St. Pauli eleven of the century . Midfielder Gert Wieczorkowski , who played for the Kiez-Klub in the Regionalliga Nord and then for Rot-Weiss Essen in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, also found his way from Dulsberg to St. Pauli . A referee well known at the time also had roots on the Dulsberg: Between 1963 and 1974, Gerhard Schulenburg directed a total of 105 games in the 1st Bundesliga. He participated as a referee at the 1974 World Cup in Germany, was referee of the UEFA Cup final between Ferencváros Budapest and Leeds United in September 1968 and, together with Albert Dusch, holds the record of having led the DFB Cup final three times (1959 , 1966 and 1970).
