The DVA International GmbH is a German multinational company of agrochemicals , pharmaceuticals , life sciences and plastics with subsidiaries in more than 20 countries worldwide. The headquarters of the family company, founded in 1968, is in Hamburg.
history
After the founding of DVA in Hamburg in 1968 as a ship brokerage, the development of trading activities in Southeast Asia began in 1972, which resulted in the opening of the first foreign office in Beijing in 1980 . In 1993 the company expanded into the field of crop protection products, and in 1995 food additives and pharmaceuticals followed in the portfolio. At the turn of the millennium, the company expanded to South America and India, and a short time later plastics were also sold since 2004. In 2010 there was a further expansion to Africa.
Today DVA International GmbH operates more than 20 locations worldwide.
