NGC 2753 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 121 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 30,000 ly . With PGC 25603 it has a small companion galaxy.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 2743 , NGC 2750 , IC 2435 .
The object was discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on February 21, 1863 .
