NGC 2745 is a lenticular galaxy of Hubble type S0 in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 158 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 20,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 2744 , NGC 2747 , NGC 2749 , NGC 2751 , among others .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 28, 1864 .
