NGC 2730 is a spiral-shaped radio galaxy from the Hubble type SBdm in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 167 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxy NGC 2734 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 28, 1864 .
