NGC 2715 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Giraffe in the northern sky . It is estimated 66 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 90,000 ly.
Together with NGC 2591 , NGC 2655 , NGC 2748 , it forms the NGC 2655 group .
The property was discovered by Alphonse Louis Nicolas Borrelly in 1871 .
