NGC 2693 is a Hubble-type E3 elliptical galaxy in the constellation Great Bear . It is an estimated 222 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 170,000 ly.
It is likely gravitationally bound with the NGC 2694 system .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 17, 1790 .
