NGC 2695 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Hydra south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 74 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 35,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 2697 , NGC 2698 , NGC 2699 , NGC 2709 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on January 6, 1785 .
