NGC 2720 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 392 million light years from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years across .
The galaxies NGC 2725 , NGC 2728 , IC 526 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 10, 1864 .
