NGC 2711 is a spiral radio galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 270 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 28, 1864 .
