Hu Yufei (born November 9, 1993 ) is a Chinese decathlete .

Athletic career

Hu Yufei gained his first international experience at the 2015 Asian Championships in Wuhan , where he won the bronze medal with 7042 points behind the Japanese Akihiko Nakamura and his compatriot Guo Qi . The following year he had to admit defeat only Nakamura at the Indoor Asian Championships in Doha with 5745 points. In 2019 he finished fourth at the Asian Championships in Doha with a new record of 7,616 points.

In 2014, 2015 and 2018, Hu became the Chinese decathlon champion.
