NGC 2761 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sm in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 386 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 2747 , NGC 2749 , NGC 2751 , NGC 2752 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 29, 1865 .
