DW (Español) is the Latin American version of the German international broadcaster DW-TV of Deutsche Welle . It is the only version that broadcasts in Spanish.

history

As early as November 1992, Deutsche Welle launched a Spanish-language broadcasting route from Berlin. For almost exactly 20 years, the German international broadcaster only broadcast original programs in Spanish for one hour. This hour was repeated again, but due to the outstanding political, economic and cultural importance of Latin America, Deutsche Welle decided to expand its Spanish-language broadcasting channel. In February 2012, Deutsche Welle underwent a complete relaunch, with the program for Latin America, DW (Latinoamérica), being expanded from the two to 20 hours a day.

Moderators

After the relaunch, new moderators such as Gonzalo E. Cáceres and Ana Plasencia were hired : with Carol Guerrero, Linda Guerrero and Carlos de Vega, over twenty new moderators from all over the world can be seen on DW (Latinoamérica).
