Ana Plasencia
Ana Plasencia (born August 19, 1974 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German journalist. She grew up on the Canary Island of Tenerife .
Ana Plasencia spent her school days at the German school in Santa Cruz de Tenerife . There she also did her German and Spanish Abitur. In 1992 she came to Berlin to study journalism and communication science at the Free University .
In 1997, Plasencia began working as a weather presenter at DW-TV , where she soon switched to the Spanish-language news program Journal . From 2000 she presented the business news on DW-TV. She also moderated the weather at N24 . Ana Plasencia now also moderates the program Global 3000 at DW, both in German and in Spanish. After the relaunch of DW-TV, which now only operates as DW, Plasencia switched from business news to news as an anchor in the journal .
Since 2006 Ana Plasencia has moderated the program Umschau des MDR in Leipzig every Tuesday , which is also broadcast on EinsExtra .
