Hannelore Siegel

Hannelore Siegel (born August 5, 1941 in Miesenbach as Hannelore Suppmayr ; † November 26, 2016 in Durach ) was a German farmer and member of the Bavarian Senate .

Live and act

After attending elementary school in Durach and the agricultural vocational school, Suppmayr worked on her parents' farm. In 1964 she was married into the Siegel farm in Durach. From 1971 to 1991 she was the local farmer of the BBV in Durach, from 1987 to 1997 district farmer in the Oberallgäu district and from 1992 to 2002 district farmer for Swabia and from 1995 to 2002 country farmer. In addition, she was a member of the federal executive board of the German Rural Women’s Association and from 1999 to 2002 she was the second vice-president.

politics

From 1984 to 1996 Siegel belonged to the municipal council of Durach as a representative of a free electorate, from 1996 to 1999 to the Bavarian Senate. In 1999 she was nominated by the CSU for the 11th Federal Assembly .
