Dachhiri Dawa Sherpa (born November 3, 1969 in Chulemo-Taksindu ) is a Nepalese mountain and ultramarathon runner and cross-country skier .

He won the first Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc in 2003. In 2004 and 2008 he finished second in this race and in 2007 fifth.

He also became known as the only participant in his home country at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, where he finished 94th in the cross-country skiing competition over 15 km among 99 participants. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 he was 127th in the freestyle sprint; in the pursuit race over 30 km he did not finish. He also qualified for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and finished the 15 km freestyle competition as 92nd of 96 starters. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he reached 142nd place over 15 km freestyle. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he finished 86th over 15 km classic.

Dachhiri Dawa Sherpa has been married since 1998 and lives in Chêne-Bourg ( Canton of Geneva ). He is employed in a construction company.
