Dafeichuan
Dafeichuan ( Chinese 大 非 川 , Pinyin Dàfēichuān , Tib. རྡ་ སན་ ཅན་ rDa-san-can ) is a historic site of a battle between the Chinese Empire of the Tang Dynasty and the Tibetan Monarchy (Tubo) in the Chinese province of Qinghai .
It is located in the southwest of what is now Gonghe County in the Tibetan Autonomous District of Hainan on the Qieji Plain . According to one opinion, it is the Buha He River in the west of Lake Qinghai (Koko Nor). In the year 670, the 1st year of the Xianhe era of the Tang Dynasty , the Tang general Xue Rengui (614-683) and Ashina Daozhen suffered a heavy defeat against the Tibetans (Tubo) in the ancient area of the Tuyuhun empire Lun Qinling .
