Dafne Keen (born January 4, 2005 as Daphne Keen Fernández ) is a British - Spanish child actress .

Career

Keen made her acting debut in 2014 in the television series The Refugees at the side of her father Will Keen, who also works as an actor. In the Spanish-British production, she portrayed the role of Ana "Ani" Cruz Oliver, the daughter of the main characters, until 2015. The series consists of eight episodes in one season and is about refugees who travel from the future to the present in order to escape an impending global catastrophe.

In 2016 she took on a leading role in the comic book adaptation Logan - The Wolverine , where she portrayed the character X-23 / Laura , a female clone of the eponymous character. It is the tenth installment in the X-Men film series , which was released in 2017.

In 2019 she starred as Lyra Belacqua on the BBC / HBO series His Dark Materials , which premiered on November 3, 2019 in the UK.
