Tomojirō Toda ( Japanese 戸 田 智 次郎 , Toda Tomojirō ; born June 30, 1946 in Nobeoka , Miyazaki Prefecture ; † October 23, 2016 in Miyazaki Prefecture), known as Haguroiwa Tomomi ( Japanese 羽 黒 岩 盟 海 , Haguroiwa Tomomi ), was a Japanese sumo wrestler . He made his professional debut in May 1961, and reached top class in January 1967 . His highest rank was komusubi . He withdrew from active competition in January 1978 and remained in the Japanese Sumo Association as the oldest under the name Ikazuchi. He reached the mandatory retirement age of 65 and left the sumo association in June 2011.

Tomomi died of kidney failure on October 23, 2016 at the age of 70 .
