Dagbani is the language of the Dagomba in Ghana , which is spoken by about 800,000 (2004 SIL) residents.
These live mainly northeast around Tamale to the distribution area of Yendi . Dagbani is also a commercial language.
Alternative names are Dagbane, Dagomba, and Dagbamba. A dialect of Dagbani is Nanuni (Nanumba). There is 95% agreement with Mampruli , 90% with Talni and 89% with Kusaal .
