Dagmar Deckstein
Dagmar Deckstein (born March 12, 1953 in Göppingen ) is a German journalist and author .
Life
From 1974 to 1979 Deckstein studied at the University of Göttingen , where she graduated with a degree in social economics.
In 1980 she began her journalistic career as a local editor at the Hessische Niedersächsische Allgemeine (HNA) in Kassel. In 1984 she moved to the Stuttgarter Zeitung as a domestic policy editor , where she stayed for five years. Deckstein has been editor of the Süddeutsche Zeitung since 1989 , first domestic politics, 1997 to 2000 economics, 2000 to 2002 page three. Since October 2002 she has been the SZ's business correspondent for Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart and works as a freelance journalist.
She lives in Stuttgart and married her long-term partner Klaus Scholz on May 9, 2009 .
