Dagmar Meyer

Dagmar Meyer (born November 7, 1931 in Grünhain ) is a German dialect speaker and author who writes in the Ore Mountains dialect .

Meyer, who lives in Bernsbach, is one of the most famous dialect authors of the present day. So far she has written ten dialect books, one novel, 50 skits and more than 30 plays. After she and her husband had taken part in the Bavarian Dialect Days in Deggendorf in 1994, she initiated the 1995 Ore Mountain Dialect Days . She was responsible for their organization until 2003.
