Life

Dagmar Tollwerth, daughter of a Portuguese mother and a German father, grew up in Germany. Since graduating in 2004, she has been working as an accountant and part-time writer. She lives with her family in Westphalia .

As her debut work, she published the poetry book Zeigerloser Weg with modern haiku in 2013 , which are thematically dedicated to 61 women personalities. The work was received positively.

In 2015 the story Die zerbbruche Rebe followed , in the same year the German-Portuguese poetry book Breathing Pictures with Haiku and Senryū on the photographs of the deceased Portuguese photographer Susana Ferreira.

With her short story Henry's Geschichte for the anthology collection SternenBlick - a poem for a children's laugh, Dagmar Tollwerth supports the Sternenblick project for the benefit of the Kinderlachen eV association. In the meantime, the book has been produced as an audio book by the Austrian publisher Die Erzählwerkstatt .

In June 2016, her poetry and photo book traces in words with a foreword by the German-Croatian writer Nataša Dragnić was published in the ranks of Brighton Verlag. Here she wrote haiku and senryū on public figures such as Veronica Ferres , Suzanne von Borsody , the Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit , Oscar winner Glen Hansard and former world boxing champion Mike Tyson .

As co-editor of the haiku anthology, Dagmar Tollwerth once again supports the SternenBlick project. The book on the subject of restless seas (le) was published in June 2017.

The short novel Ich & Jetzt , inspired by the BBC disclosure report from 1999, was published in December 2016. She wrote the novel around the turn of the millennium. The model Julia Kunz, who adorns the cover with the photo of Artur Macht, wrote her experiences in her epilogue to the book and thus shows the beautiful sides of the industry.

In her new project, again in favor of the SternenBlick team, Dagmar Tollwerth deals with the "Portuguese Schindler", Aristides de Sousa Mendes and his house. This anthology collection is dedicated to lost places and places.
