Dagmar Wiedemann

Dagmar Wiedemann (* 1950 ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since March 18, 2020 .

Life

Dagmar Wiedemann studied law , worked as a lawyer in Hamburg and lived in Japan for seven years . In 1972 she joined the SPD. Wiedemann was chairwoman of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly . After she ran unsuccessfully in the mayor elections in 2008 , 2011 and 2015 , she was able to move into the Hamburg Parliament on February 23, 2020 by winning a direct mandate in the Eppendorf-Winterhude constituency . She opened the constituent meeting of the 22nd citizenship on March 18, 2020 as the age president .

Wiedemann has two children and lives in Hamburg.
