The Dahle is a left tributary of the Elbe in Saxony. The name of the river is related to the largest place on the river, Dahlen (Saxony) .

The Dahle rises in the Dahlener Heide , 3 km north of Schmannewitz. It flows through the villages: Schmannewitz , Dahlen (Saxony) , Lampertswalde, Sörnewitz, Cavertitz , Klingenhain, Schirmeitz, Ausig and Seydewitz.
Most of the run from Lampertswalde is in the area of the municipality of Cavertitz.
From the source to Dahlen it flows south and then turns east towards the Elbe. The last kilometer of the river before the mouth forms the state border with Brandenburg before it flows into the Elbe near the ferry across from the city of Mühlberg / Elbe .
