Dai Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 大 , Satō Dai ; born August 16, 1971 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Satō learned to play football on the school team at Kawaguchi High School . He signed his first contract in 1990 with Hitachi (today: Kashiwa Reysol). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. In 1990/91 he was with the club champions of Division 2 and rose to Division 1. In 1994 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
