Dale Harding

Dale Harding (* 1982 in Moranbah , Isaac Region , Queensland ) is an Australian painter .

life and work

Dale Harding is a descendant of the Central Queensland indigenous tribes of the Bidjara, Ghungalu and Garingbal. From 2009 to 2012 he studied Contemporary Indigenous Australian art at Griffith University in Brisbane and received his Bachelor of Fine Art with distinction in 2013 . Harding is a painter, mainly doing wall paintings, but also room installations, screen prints and objects.

Harding was a participant in the 11th Gwangju Biennale in 2016 and in documenta 14 in Kassel in 2017 . In 2018 he was represented at the Soon Enough exhibition at Tensta Konsthall in Stockholm. In 2019 the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane will host the solo exhibition Dale Harding: Current Iterations for him.
