Griffith University

The Griffith University is a university in Brisbane in the Australian state of Queensland .

The university was founded in 1971. It is named after Samuel Griffith (1845–1920). The associated Queensland College of Art in Brisbane was founded in 1881, the Queensland Conservatory in 1957.

With over 40 research centers, the university is spread across the Nathan headquarters and the Gold Coast , Mount Gravatt, Logan, Queensland Conservatorium (South Bank) and Queensland College of the Art (South Bank) locations .
