Dale Hartleben
Nelson Dale Hartleben (born January 23, 1942 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor and film producer . For his documentary Schußfahrt vom Mount Everest (1975), he received an Oscar for best documentary film in 1976 .
Life
Dale Hartleben starred in several films as a child between 1951 and 1955. In 1975 he produced the documentary Schußfahrt vom Mount Everest ( The Man Who Skied Down Everest ) about the departure of the Japanese Yūichirō Miura in 1970 from Mount Everest on skis .
