Dalsjöfors GoIF was founded in 1925. The club currently operates departments for football and boules , and in the past it also offered skiing , orienteering and gymnastics . The first women's team played second class for a long time. In 2010 she rose to the first women's league for the first time , but had to relegate as bottom of the table in the following season 2011 . In 2012 the women's division of the club went bankrupt and in 2013 plays in the lowest division, Div.5 Sydöstra . The men's teams play consistently in the regional league area.
