Damián Malrechauffe , full name Damián Alejandro Malrechauffe Verdún , (born October 19, 1984 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.86 meter tall defensive player Malrechauffe was at the beginning of his career until mid-July 2009 in the ranks of the first division club Danubio FC . While winning the Uruguayan championship in 2004, he was already a substitute or supplementary player in the master squad trained by Gerardo Pelusso . In the 2006/07 season he was then part of the Danubios core team, which was again Uruguayan champions under Gustavo Matosas . In the 2008/09 season he scored two goals in the Primera División with the Montevideans . From July 2009 to the end of June 2010 he was active on loan for the Mexican club Club Tijuana . In the 2009/10 season he played 34 games (two goals) in the Liga de Ascenso .

After his return to Danubio, he played there in 59 first division matches until the end of June 2012 and scored four goals (2010/11 season: 29 games / 2 goals; 2011/12: 30/2). It was then awarded again for one year until the end of June 2013. This time the receiving club was Cúcuta Deportivo from Colombia . With the Colombians he completed 27 league games (two goals) in the Primera A, two play-off games (no goal) and one encounter (no goal) in the Copa Colombia .

Another loan to Colo Colo followed until the beginning of 2014 . In the first team of the Chileans he came in the league - each without a personal goal - three times, in the second team once. In the second half of January 2014, Danubios league competitor Racing Malrechauffe loaned out. By the end of the Clausura 2014, he played nine first division matches (no goal). In the Apertura 2014 he was used at Racing 14 times in the top Uruguayan league and scored five goals. At the end of January 2015, he moved to Quilmes AC in Argentina . There he played 28 first division games (one goal) and two games (no goal) in the Copa Argentina . Since July 2016 he has been under contract with Danubio FC again and scored one goal in 13 first division appearances in the 2016 season.
