Damian Gorawski (born January 4, 1979 in Ruda Śląska , Poland ) is a former Polish football player .

Club career

The midfielder (right-offensive) began his career in 1999 at Ruch Chorzów and played for Wisła Kraków until 2004 , before moving to FK Moscow . From 2008 to the beginning of 2009 he played for the Russian first division club Schinnik Yaroslavl . Since the second half of the 2008/2009 season he was under contract with Górnik Zabrze in Poland . At the start of the 2010/2011 season, however, he could no longer find a place in the first team and had to be content with a place in the squad of the second team. He then ended his career in 2011.

National team

Gorawski played a total of 14 international matches (1 goal) for Poland between 2003 and 2005 and was also a member of the squad for the 2006 World Cup . However, the usual FIFA medical check indicated that he had heart problems that did not guarantee that he could take part in the tournament without risk. Bartosz Bosacki was then nominated for him .
