Damian Martin (makeup artist)
Damian Martin (* 20th century) is an Australian makeup artist, special effects and make-up expert.
Life
Together with Adam Johansen, Martin founded the special effects and make-up company Odd Studio in the 1990s. At the end of the 1990s Martin was involved in the series Farscape , his first feature film was Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith from 2005. Other film and television productions followed.
For his work on Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), he and Lesley Vanderwalt received the prize in the category Best Make-up and Best Hairstyles at the British Academy Film Awards 2016 . He also received the Oscar for Best Make-up and Best Hairstyles with Vanderwalt and Elka Wardega .
