British Academy Film Awards 2016
The 69th British Academy Film Awards took place on February 14, 2016 at the Royal Opera House in London to honor the best films of the 2015 film year . As usual, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards were presented in 24 categories. The event was hosted by the British actor and presenter Stephen Fry , who has taken on this role for the eleventh time.
The nominations for the British Academy Film Awards were announced on January 8, 2016 by host Stephen Fry and actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw . Bridge of Spies - The Negotiator and Carol received the most nominations, each with nine nominations.
