Bernhard Henrich
Bernhard Henrich (* in Niederwürzbach ) is a German production designer .
Henrich moved from Saarland to Berlin and began as a theater sculptor at the Schillertheater . He had worked as a prop master for German film since the mid-1970s . Since the 1990s he has been working as a film set decorator, mainly for international productions. For Bridge of Spies - The Negotiator , he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Production Design and for the British Academy Film Award in 2016 together with Adam Stockhausen and Rena DeAngelo . He has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science since June 2016 and thus has a say in the award of the Oscars.
