Blye Pagon Faust also Blye Faust (* as Katharine Blye Pagon on December 28, 1975 in Monroe , Washington is an American film producer and actress .

life and career

Blye Pagon Faust is from the small town of Monroe in Washington State . Her mother, Roberta Pagon, is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington, and her father, Garry Pagon, owns a real estate company. Her maternal grandfather was Donald Grigg Anderson (1913–1995), Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Blye Pagon Faust attended Monroe High School in her hometown until 1993. From 1993 she studied at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara in the San Francisco Bay Area of California , where she received her BA in English in 1997 . She then moved to UCLA Law School for Entertainment Law. She graduated with a JD law degree in 2001 and then practiced as a lawyer in a Los Angeles law firm.

Since 1998 she has worked briefly in the film business, first between 1998 and 2003 several times as an actress in short films and commercials, then since 2013 as a producer. In addition to The Queen Latifah Show , she was also involved in 2015 as a film producer for the cinema production Spotlight by Tom McCarthy with the cast of Mark Ruffalo , Michael Keaton and Rachel McAdams . For this she and her production team Michael Sugar , Steve Golin and Nicole Rocklin were awarded the Oscar in the category Best Film at the 2016 awards ceremony .

She is married to Aaron Faust and has two sons with him (* 2011 & 2015). She lives with her family in Marin, California.
