Nicole Rocklin

Nicole Rocklin (born August 29, 1979 ) is an American film producer . She became internationally known for her involvement in films such as Middle of Nowhere and Spotlight .

life and career

Nicole Rocklin, born in 1979, grew up in Calabasas (California). After attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison , she returned to Los Angeles , where she took up a position at law school for two years, and later worked for Jerry Bruckheimer's production company . In 2008 she began an independent career as a producer in the film industry.

She first supported director John Stockwell in his theatrical production Middle of Nowhere , before joining director Stephen Leeds' film project The Magnificent Cooly-T a year later as executive producer. In 2015 she produced The Perfect Guy, starring Sanaa Lathan , Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut . That same year she was also the film production Spotlight on Tom McCarthy in the cast Mark Ruffalo , Michael Keaton and Rachel McAdams active as a film producer, for which she along with her team of producers Michael Sugar , Steve Golin and Blye Pagon Faust at the ceremony in 2016 a Oscar for Best Picture .

In 2018 she was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
