British Academy Film Awards 2015
The 68th British Academy Film Awards ceremony took place on February 8, 2015 at the Royal Opera House , London . The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) film awards were presented in 24 categories. The event was hosted by British actor and presenter Stephen Fry , who has taken on this role for the tenth time.
The nominations for the British Academy Film Awards were announced on January 9, 2015. Wes Anderson's tragicomedy Grand Budapest Hotel received the most nominations with eleven nominations, followed by Alejandro González Iñárritu's film Birdman or (The Unexpected Power of Cluelessness) and the film drama The Discovery of Infinity by British director James Marsh with ten nominations each. In addition to these three films, Richard Linklater's drama Boyhood and Morten Tyldums historical drama The Imitation Game were nominated for best film.
