Martin Peter Jensen is a sound engineer .

Life

Jensen started his career with German productions. His debut was the short film Panzano, produced by the Cologne Academy of Media Arts in 2000 . He then worked on the Danish television series Hotellet . After a few other small productions, he was involved as assistant mixer in the four Academy Award-nominated film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice .

In 2011 he was nominated for The King's Speech together with Paul Hamblin and John Midgley for an Oscar in the category Best Sound . In the same year he was also nominated for the BAFTA Film Award in the category Best Sound for the film. He received another BAFTA Film Award nomination in 2015 for The Imitation Game - A Top Secret Life . Jensen has mainly worked for television since the late 2000s. For his work on the British-American television series Generation Kill he won the Primetime Emmy in 2009 .
