Paul Hamblin

Paul Hamblin (born before 1980) is a British sound engineer .

Life

Hamblin began his career in the early 1980s and has since worked mostly on British television productions such as television films, documentaries and television series. For his work in the television business he was nominated a total of 18 times for the BAFTA TV Award between 1995 and 2013; He was able to win the award six times, including twice for the Kurt Wallander films with Kenneth Branagh in the title role. For his work on American television, he was nominated three times for the Primetime Emmy ; In 2009 he won the Generation Kill television series award .

Hambin has also worked on UK film productions, including Live Unusually , Pride and Prejudice and Atonement . For the latter film he received the first nomination for the BAFTA Film Award in the category Best Sound in 2008 . A second nomination came in 2011 for The King's Speech . In the same year he was also nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Sound .
