Anna Pinnock

Anna Pinnock (born before 1994) is a British production designer who has been nominated five times for an Oscar and won the award for the first time in 2015.

Career

The conductor's sister Trevor Pinnock first worked as a production designer for the British comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral in 1994 . She received her first Oscar nomination, along with Stephen Altman , at the 2002 Academy Awards for Gosford Park in the Best Production Design category. At the Oscar ceremony in 2008 , she was once again, this time with Dennis Gassner for the film The Golden Compass , nominated in the same category. She received her third nomination for Best Production Design at the Oscars in 2013 with David Gropman for her work on the adventure drama Life of Pi: Shipwreck with Tiger , which was released in 2012. Life of Pi received a total of eleven nominations. In the same year she also worked as a production designer for the British agent thriller James Bond 007: Skyfall , which was nominated five times at the Academy Awards. In 2015 she and Adam Stockhausen won an Oscar in the category Best Production Design for their work in the Grand Budapest Hotel . In the same year she and Dennis Gassner received another Oscar nomination in the same category for Into the Woods . Another Oscar nomination followed in 2017 for her work on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016).
